People are funny
On Thursday, mom and I are going to have brunch at a local resort hotel. When I told people this at work, they looked at me bewildered. "What will you eat?" they ask.
I laugh because I have never been to a restaurant where they serve nothing but meat. Oh, I'm sure they're out there, I just haven't been to one.
Oh, I'm sure I'll find something to eat. There's an omelet bar, pasta bar, salad stuff and I'm sure lots of veggies (and dessert).
"Oh, yeah."

Isn't that funny. My mother called today to ask exactly what I would eat for Thanksgiving since I wouldn't eat turkey. I guess she forgets from year to year since we constantly have this conversation . . . at least there was no mention of Tofurkey! HA!
