Thankful for Mother's
I hit the Hallmark store this morning because I am behind on my Mother's Day duties. There was just not much free time in the weeks before I left and I couldn't find a Gold Crown Store in Vegas (I did too look.).
Finding a card for mom was easy. One for my Godmother, not so much.
At first I thought I would take one of the 99 cent cards designed to be from a child or maybe a bright card with flowers. But none of the messages seemed right. I finally I settled on this one:
Front cover: Happy Mother's Day to a woman who helped mold me.
Inside: Yeah, you've got to take some of the blame too.
It's something I would've given her back when she could read and remember my name. She'd a had a good belly laugh over the truth of that. So I got her that one.

What happens on Mother's Day in Vega$... stays in Vega$.
Funny card... I need to find something like that. Even though my mom is six thousand miles away... I should still do something nice for her, since I'm living in her house rent-free while she educates Europe about IP economics.
