I'd splurge on a three quart Calphalon saute pan. The hundred bucks would cover the pan and the shipping.
I bought some new dinnerware today. I've been using the same plates for 10+ years now and I am tired of them. So much so that I have been using Dixie paper plates and bowls instead.
Well, as part of this "doing my part" for the environment crusade, I have to give up my Dixieware (and plasticware).
My old set was black and white, and heavy. I went with Corelle:

I find myself doing that all the time. In an I'm adult, I get to decide what I want to do kind of way.
I use it at night when I'm not ready to go to bed, but should. I'm an adult. I can continue to play Alchemy and deal with the consequences in the morning.
Right now, I should be cleaning. But I'm not.
I need to go to the store. But I'm negotiating. If you go, you only have to buy this and that. The rest can wait until another day.
Is that what adults do? Or am I just plain lazy?

]]>Today mom and I went to the outlet mall in San Marcos. I picked up five skirts, two pairs of pants and four tops for $225. All work wearable. I was really disappointed at what is in "style" these days. There really wasn't much I liked and I only regret leaving one thing behind (an off-white cashmere sweater).
