Bush should resign now.

Then Dick Cheney becomes President (that would really TICK OFF the liberals)!!!

Then he appoints Condoleeza Rice as VP.

Then Cheney resigns two weeks later and Condoleeza Rice, A Republican, becomes the first BLACK President and the first WOMAN President !!!

“I was just reading an article in The New York Times by Michael Pollan about food and the fact that our entire agricultural system is built on cheap oil. As a consequence, our agriculture sector actually is contributing more greenhouse gases than our transportation sector. And in the mean time, it’s creating monocultures that are vulnerable to national security threats, are now vulnerable to sky-high food prices or crashes in food prices, huge swings in commodity prices, and are partly responsible for the explosion in our healthcare costs because they’re contributing to type 2 diabetes, stroke and heart disease, obesity, all the things that are driving our huge explosion in healthcare costs.”

I felt Proud. Empowered. Thrilled. Exhilarated. Like I was a part of history in the making.

There were about 20 ahead of me and only one ahead of mom.

In front of me, two young Caucasian women stood, saying, “We need as many votes as we can get.” I’d look up and out from my own thoughts and catch eyes with another Black person. We’d nod in the way that Black folks do when we wish to say “Hi.” But these nods held something different. The looks in their eyes said that they were harboring some of the same thoughts and emotions rushing through me. “Can you believe that we’re about to vote for a Black President?”
